Acceptance is the first step...

Acceptance is the first step...

There is a fresh spring breeze of freedom that comes with self-acceptance and along with it, a feeling of immense gratitude. We are struggling too much to seek perfection when, I believe,is in the imperfection itself that rests our power.

We are all so imperfectly the same that the simple acknowledgement of this imperfection makes us complete, and ultimately, perfect.

How to accept something in you that you want changed? … Something you desperately fight to overcome?...well here’s another paradox that can set us free : along with real, deep acceptance of who we are comes our power to become better and better, without even trying to. It’s like we were programmed for growth by only embracing our uniqueness. And as any program, it has viruses who block it or even cause damage to our bodies , and those viruses are self-criticism guilt and alike feelings of self-destruction.

Your uniqueness needs acceptance to shine in its perfection...

  3. Hmmmm.... What is perfection and what is imperfection anyway?
Who sets the standards? Who defines it?
How would it be to accept what IS without judging how perect or imperfect things are?
    Just curious.....:-)

  4. Personally I believe that divine creation is perfect…which is all there is, including us, humans. The challenge in embracing our completeness is accepting our true nature.
I am using the word “perfect” as a synonym to “complet” , “meant to be” , even “divine”

I believe that deep acceptance of “what is” makes it perfect.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts :) 
